This World Book Day, join us for a creative and fun-filled craft event based on the beloved story of The Rainbow Fish! Perfect for preschool and primary-aged children of all abilities, this event will be led by Kim, our talented staff member and former primary educator, who will use her teaching skills to make the session engaging and inclusive for all.
What’s on Offer:
✨ Craft Your Own Rainbow Fish Plate: After hearing the story, each child will paint their very own Rainbow Fish plate, using the skills and techniques explored during the session! With shimmering scales and vibrant colors, the possibilities are endless!
🎨 Guidance from Kim: Kim’s background as an educator means she’ll provide expert support and create a friendly, inclusive environment for all children to explore their creativity—no matter their skill level.
📚 Storytime & Fun Activities: We’ll read the heartwarming Rainbow Fish story aloud, followed by hands-on crafting that reinforces themes of friendship, sharing, and kindness.
👕 Costumes Welcome! Come dressed as your favorite book character for extra fun and a chance to win a special prize!
